The wall above the tv is completely naked and I already have too many picture frames up so I added a simple wall art of butterflies.
I used pins to tack them to the wall, but I'm sure you could use tape or scrapbook dots if you don't want that many holes in your walls. I just got a great deal on the pins at Target so I used them instead.
I printed out this Butterflies PDF and colored them in in Photoshop to get the black color and printed them from my printer.
This project cost me .30 cents for the pins. Simple and easy, it just took some time to cut them out by hand. But they are so cute and they flap their wings a little when the fan is on or we have the windows open!
MADE has this same idea but she uses bats for Halloween! I've had my butterflies up since my sister visited us though but never got around to posting them. Oops hehe. Guess great minds think alike!
And yes, that is Carebears on the tv lol. Just being real when there's a kid in the house :)
Also I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all the new followers of our little blog! We're happy to have made new friends this past month :)
